Built to pass your digital and clinical safety review.
Digital Technology Assessment Criteria
Completed. Available on request.
Clinical risk management
Clinical risk is managed under DCB0129, with a clinical safety case available on request to support your own DCB0160 work.
For clinicians only
Virtual Bones is for healthcare professionals. Patients receive information only through the leaflets your team chooses.
Your content, your sign-off
Clinical content is reviewed and owned by each hospital's clinical leads, and every change is recorded.
No patient data in the documentation
The documentation template asks for no patient identifiers. A phone-to-computer code works once, and what it carries is erased from the server at that moment.
Hosting
Hosted in the UK, on Amazon Web Services in London. No patient data is stored.
Secure by design, and checked before every release.
Assessed under DTAC
Our DTAC covers data protection and technical security as well as clinical safety. Your information governance and cyber teams can review it in full.
Only your people get in
The app is for staff who sign up with an NHS email address and are approved by your team. The webapp only opens on your hospital network.
Each hospital kept apart
Every hospital sees only its own content, users and analytics. Administrators work only on their own hospital.
Encrypted, with no patient data held
Every connection is encrypted. No patient data is stored, and the documentation template asks for no patient identifiers.
Every change recorded
The console keeps an audit trail of who changed what and when, with earlier versions kept so any change can be undone.
Tested before it ships
Regular security reviews, and a full test of the apps, webapp and console before every release reaches your staff.
